AN ALTERNATIVE APPROACH TO SCENEWORK

Many of the tradition improv rules and concepts separate us from the real world. By looking towards the rules of life we will discover how to create more natural and textured scenes that are easier for us to play and more compelling for an audience to watch.

THE UN-LOGIC OF EMOTIONS
Sunday 2PM - 5PM
Emotions aren't illogical, they are un-logical. As such they obey far different rules than the ones we use for verbal chess matches. We will explore those rules and find ways to leverage emotions and emotional changes to further our scenes.

Workshops are $40 apiece or $140 for all four!

BIO
Bill Arnett has improvised in Chicago for two decades, performing with some of the most popular and esteemed groups. As an instructor of improvisation he travels internationally always bringing his depth of knowledge and remarkable eye for improv problem solving. The former head of the iO Theater training center, he launched the Chicago Improv Studio as a way to explore the concepts introduced in his book, The Complete Improvisor.
